The project invests 1.350 billion yuan, covers an area of 100 acres, and uses 32,000 square meters of new factory buildings, including silicon carbide crystal growth workshops, wafer processing workshops, R&D centers, power plants, auxiliary plants, etc. The project focuses on energy-saving, environmentally friendly, 4 & 6-inch process compatible automated production lines. The construction period is 4 years. The project starts from October 2020 to October 2024. It is planned to complete plant construction and equipment installation and commissioning in the third quarter of 2021. At the end of December 2015, the pilot test was completed and the trial sales started. The production load in the first three years after production was 33%, 67%, and 100% respectively. After the agreement is reached, it is expected to produce 30,000 4-inch silicon carbide wafers and 120,000 6-inch silicon carbide wafers per year. After the project reaches production capacity, the annual sales income is 930 million yuan, which has good economic and social benefits. At the same time, it plans to reserve production space for further expansion and SiC epitaxy in the future, and choose the opportunity to seize the field of SiC power devices. By then, the company will have a complete industrial chain of SiC wafers.
